Have you ever heard of the KSK (the Künstlersozialkasse)? The KSK is a government support for creative people.
I help artists in Germany to get into the KSK insurance scheme.

As a member you get loads of benefits:

  • They pay half of your dues for your health insurance.
  • You get pension points.
  • You get sick payment.

 

It really is a great thing to have!

Unfortunately it is not easy to get in, as a lot of documents are needed and the application has to be in German.
